Ratio in roster planning

If your organisation uses roster planning, Knuut shows the ratio while you plan shifts. The calculation is the same: the children’s multipliers and one adult for every seven multiplier points.

Why does it differ from the actual ratio?

• Children with no declared care time are left out of the plan. Knuut tells you how many there are, and the plan is an estimate for them.
• Counts toward the ratio is on for a shift by default. You can turn it off in the shift’s details, for example for a kitchen shift.

Findings

• Understaffing is always a blocking error. Knuut tells you the time and how many employees are missing.
• Overstaffing is a warning. It shows when at least two employees are over the need for more than 60 minutes in a row.
