Knuut creates the periods itself, one after another. When a period is coming up, its wishes are open. In the app, Workers mark what they would like for each day (for example a morning shift or a day off) and send their wishes by the deadline.

  1. Open Roster and the Wishes & requests tab. Pick the right period with the arrows.
  2. On the right you see how many Workers have filed their wishes, who has not and who filed late. “No app, ask for wishes directly” means the Worker does not have the app yet.
  3. If needed, you can move one period’s deadline with Change deadline.

Workers’ change requests are on the left of the page, the wish status on the right.

In the planning view, wishes are shown on the shift rows when the Wishes box is ticked. That way you see, while planning, who wished for a day off or a certain shift.
