I do not see Care time bookings in the menu.

The item is shown to Organisation admins and Unit admins. Check your role. Workers see the day’s care times on the unit device.

A guardian cannot change next week’s times.

The day is inside the booking deadline. The guardian can still report an absence. If the time must change, a Unit admin can do it on the child’s page. See Child’s service times.

Can a sickness be reported on the same morning?

Yes. An absence can be reported for today and any future weekday, also inside the booking deadline.

A child turned up even though an absence was reported.

Check the child in as usual. The recording takes precedence over the booking, and the row shows Absence reported.

Both guardians changed the same day’s time.

Both can change the child’s times. The change saved last is the one that applies.

Does Knuut remind guardians to book care times?

No. Knuut does not send reminders. Tell families about the unit’s deadline yourselves.

Why is a child’s cell empty?

The child has no booking and no default schedule for that day. Check that the child has a default schedule and that it covers that weekday.

Why can I not see last week?

The view shows only this week and the coming weeks. What actually happened is in the recordings.

A child turns 3 next week. From which day does the multiplier change?

From the birthday on. The view and the print work out the multiplier for each day separately, so the days before the birthday show 1.75. If the child has a multiplier of their own, it applies on every day.

Does a guardian’s change show up right away?

The change is saved right away. Reload the page, or pull down the list on the device, to see it.

Do care time bookings affect invoicing?

No. Invoicing uses the municipality’s service voucher report and the unit’s client fees. The child’s contract only caps how many hours a week can be booked.

A guardian does not use the app.

A Unit admin can set the child’s default schedule and change days on the child’s page, on the Service times tab.

Units are merged for the holidays. How do we move the children to the holiday unit?

Give the children a temporary placement: the unit’s Holiday placements page in Settings places many children at once, and the child’s Placements tab places one child. The child’s own unit and invoicing do not change. Go through the merge checklist.

A guardian’s week is partly locked and partly open.

Part of the week is in a host unit whose notice window differs from the home unit’s. Each day follows the rules of the unit the child is in that day.
